It’s been six years since the last time we updated you on Radio X.
A lot of things happened since then.
- John got a laptop
- Whitters got married
- Christie got married
- John got a second laptop (for “work”)
- Christie had a child
- John’s son moved in with him
- Whitters got a new supercomputer of doom
Both Christie and Whitters have dropped hints to John, trying to get him to sign off on a return to the show. So what’s the hold up?
There is no kIRB anymore. The home radio station for the show is gone. We would have to go strictly to a podcast format, rather than stream live and interact with listeners.
Half the links to the affiliates on the sidebar are defunct or outdated. The ones that are have moved on from who they were to something different.
It’s a different world. In a world where the voiceless had a voice, this show had a chance. Now, the small time no-name shows wanting to start up something new have no chance with podcast-talentless actors and sports athletes using their fame to attract sheep to the fire of their empty radio shows, with promises of something fun and exciting, not really understanding what fun or exciting actually is.
We could have fun. We should have fun. Is it worth it, though?
Think about it long and hard, dear fans.
- Would you really support the X again?
- Are you willing to help spread the X like Molly at a rave?
- Can you dedicate your time and effort to Make X Adequate Again?
- Can I get a #MXAA from you?
Maybe we’ll be back, or maybe we’ll post again in six more years.
