To all the fans, friends, and affiliates of the show:
This week, due to unforeseen circumstances, we decided to preempt this week’s show. The original plan was to do the show as we normally do, but Whitters got the message from John that the show was canceled this week.
John has lost his mind, to be honest. What started out being a miscommunication turned into a ridiculous blowup, and John felt it was important to take a break and try to resolve those issues. It was unrelated to the show, and part of his concern was that it would become one, and John felt it would not be fair for the other parties involved for that to happen.
Since we started the show in 2005, the one thing we’ve always tried to do was provide an evening of fun to our listeners. We would discuss our personal experiences from time to time, but it’s very rare that we would ever lash out on a personal level to anyone in a hurtful, angry manner. John, Whitters, Chenoa, Christie, Erica, and the many guest hosts of the show can say a lot about this show good and bad, but not one can ever say this show is a cruel, horrible, angry, bitter program.
Back in the early days of the show, someone had this brilliant idea that we should conduct an internet gossip radio show. Create controversy. Start rumors. Attack other shows, sites, or people. That’s not what this show is about. The tone of the show is one that we’re proud of, and while we do poke our fun at people, it’s never meant in a hurtful fashion.
We don’t use the show as a vehicle of hate, nor will we ever. John may call Whitters a mean person, Whitters may call John an ass, but that’s in fun. You laugh with us, we laugh with you, and we’ve become a happy family.
